Throughout the year we organise special events from day rides further afield, to weekends away and off-bike social events at local pubs, bike shows visits and lots more.
Be sure to bookmark this page and come back soon to see what we're planning. Don't forget to connect with us on Facebook too, so you're always up to date.
Why not let us know about an event you are planning and we'll tell our members about it here. Please use the Contact Form to get in touch.
Special Events are normally open to everyone, though occasionally we may have restricted places and will offer those to regular riders in the group first. More reason than ever to join us on a local ride!
We've completed all the pre-planned events for the year (Except the Xmas Ride - See Facebook for details). 2020 is already shaping up to be our busiest year so far - join us on a local ride to find out more.
6th to 10th June 2019
The first trip to foreign shores for the WCC as a group (unless you count the Isle of Wight!) and one that looks set to be a real adventure. The Pico's should offer something very different to the trails we're used to locally, especially as we'll be riding locally-hired Scott hard-tails!
10 November 2019
We go to the Surrey Hills twice a year in Spring & Autumn - cos it is fab place to ride. We'll ride between 20 & 30 miles. The group may split as some riders prefer to stay on the DH stuff while others prefer the XC style. It is a fun packed day of riding in a really nice part of the country.
15th to 17th May 2020
A welcome return to the beautiful Wight Isle having given it a year off in 2019 due to the excellent Picos trip. A firm favourite, the Isle of Wight offers superb off-road trails with views over the island or out to sea. Lots of climbing means lots of descending, with lots of twist bits in between. One not to miss!
4th to 6th September 2020
After A successful reccy ride in 2019, the Elan & Doethie Valley is ready for a bigger group visit in 2020. An amazing place to ride with a huge variety of trails including the famous 'Monk's Trod' - 2 miles of heavy going in proper boggy conditions! Some distance away, but definitely one for the diary.
