Throughout the year we organise special events from day rides further afield, to weekends away and off-bike social events at local pubs, bike shows visits and lots more.
Why not let us know about an event you are planning and we'll tell our members about it here. Please use the Contact Form to get in touch.
Special Events are normally open to everyone, though occasionally we may have restricted places and will offer those to regular riders in the group first. More reason than ever to join us on a local ride!
We've now completed all the planned Special Events for 2021, but we're busy planning trips for 2022!
Follow us on Facebook to ensure you don't miss out on an amazing Windmiller Big Weekender.
Plan is drive up on Sat 14 May in the morning, then an afternoon ride. Full day ride on the Sunday. Then a less hilly half day ride on Monday, before driving back.
It is such a fantastic and unique place to ride.
We couldn't make this event happen in 2020, so let's make the 2021 WCC Christmas Ride-Out the best one yet! Dress those bikes in Christmas lights and be ready to ride at 5pm sharp.
The Pub-Ride-Crawl is open to everyone, but the dinner afterwards has limited spaces. Now full.
Four days up in the Scottish Borders riding some of the best man-made trail centres the UK has to offer.
Accommodation has been put on hold in the hope we can re-book for a date in 2021. Watch this space!
I'm happy to report that, unless the current road map for Coronavirus changes, we are GAME ON for the IOW BIG Weekender 2021.
All places have been allocated this year due to the postponement of this event from 2020.
The long awaited return to the Surry Hills! One of our favourite one day ride locations, the Surrey Hills has got it all - twisty singletrack, big climbs and huge descents. A great day out and one not to be missed.
This event is open to all Windmillers and friends. Please try and share a car to Peaslake so we can reduce our environmental impact.
After a successful reccy ride in 2019, the Elan Valley is ready for a bigger group visit in 2020. An amazing place to ride with a huge variety of trails including the infamous 'Monk's Trod'. This time we start the weekend with a visit to the Brecon Beacons National Park to ride the 'Black Mountains Classic' route - it's ace!
Accommodation has been secured for 12 windmillers. This event is Fully Booked for 2020. We're sure to return, so keep an eye on these pages.
